Youth Sunday: Carpenter Tools International presenting Worship through Music
Special Music this weekend
Carpenter Tools International (CTI Ministries) will return to Friendship Church for both a high energy concert on Saturday, April 28 at 7:00 pm and to participate in worship at Friendship Church’s Sunday services. They are a group of highly trained college students with a love of music.
“CTI works to make disciples of all nations by developing Christian leadership and character in young musicians, training them in servanthood, awareness, and the active sharing of their faith, and mobilizing them in partnership with the Church and other established Christian organizations worldwide to support mission and ministry through the impact of music.
We help ministry organizations around the world reach young people with the gospel by providing the unique resource of a well-trained music team – strengthening and challenging Christians in places where they gather, and bringing the light of Jesus to places where He may not be known.”- taken from CTI’s web site
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
- Matthew 28:19-20
Prayer: God of love and mercy, we have gathered in this sacred place to sing our praise to you and to be touched by your gentle Spirit. We offer grateful thanks for the gift of rest and renewal. We pray that through our worship we may be recreated in your likeness once more. Let your cleansing Spirit enter our lives, that the shadows of our souls may be pierced by your Light. Let our destructive thoughts be transformed into expression of beauty, reflecting your love. We pray in the name of our Redeemer. Amen.
